Technological Cooperation of Iran and China Is Accelerated by Signing Seven Agreements
Along with the presence of Iran’s scientific and knowledge-based delegation in China, seven cooperation agreements were signed during the second business and technology meeting of the delegation in Shenzhen.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the second business and technology meeting of knowledge-based companies was held in Shenzhen. In this meeting, 70 Iranian knowledge-based companies were present from Iran. In addition, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, talked about scientific and technological capacities of Iran and pointed out the capacities of knowledge-based companies and startups in performing innovative measures.
Expanding cooperation between technology companies in the two countries, finding an investor and increasing knowledge-based products exports were the goals of the meeting. Information technology, stem cells, industrial machinery and equipment, advanced materials and health were areas of activity of these Iranian-based knowledge companies leaving for the people"s republic of china. In the end, seven cooperation agreements were signed between Iranian and Chinese companies. Cell therapy, gene therapy and the issue of shared production of social robots are some of the topics that have been agreed upon in these agreements.
China is currently the most populous country in the world, with a high GDP of over $12 trillion and has been named the world"s second largest economy. On the other hand, China is one of the largest global markets. Therefore, holding these meetings can be a step towards developing a knowledge-based enterprise market.
The scientific and technological delegation of Iran traveled to China with the presidency of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs. This delegation encompassed the managers of 70 knowledge-based companies. The purpose of this trip is to help develop Iran"s knowledge, technology and creative companies" exports to China and to lay the foundation for exchange of technology at the level of agencies of the two parties.
