Tabriz tourism hamnet was held with the support of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter and three top groups were established in innovation center of Tabriz University.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in line with the execution of the program for holding entrepreneurial events by the national elites foundation of East Azerbaijan Province, the event of “Tabriz tourism hamnet” was held to familiarize the participants with the entrepreneurship topics, practical establishment of business, gathering of activists and specialists in the field of tourism in Tabriz and creating a network among them, form startup teams and turn proper ideas into business in the tourism field and presence of investors in this area and investment in new and growing startups.

In this regard, the event of Tabriz tourism hamnet was held November 1^st-2^nd, 2017 by the efforts of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter, innovation center of Tabriz University, accelerator of the national elites foundation of East Azerbaijan Province, center for tourism studies, management science association and tourism management science association of Tabriz University.

The main topics of this event included holding tourism, historical, cultural and natural tours, booking accommodation and welfare facilities, buying transportation tickets, selling souvenirs and handicrafts and introducing tourist attractions, health tourism and other relevant areas.

Tabriz tourism hamnet was held to familiarize the participants with the entrepreneurship topics, practical establishment of business, gathering of activists and specialists in the field of tourism in Tabriz and creating a network among them.

Other goals of the event included the formation of startup teams and turning proper ideas into business in the tourism field and presence of investors in this area and investment in new and growing startups.

The selected ideas of the event were social marketing agency (Tabriz Show), rural and agricultural tourism, the 10 best Tabriz 2018, Iran Desserland, creating illustrated story, Dr. Roast, and park of brand tourism camp.

The top three ideas of the event are able to be located in the innovation center of Tabriz University, and other ideas can be completed and reevaluated in this center and the national elites foundation.
