The call supports joint research by researchers from the two countries in the three disciplines of life sciences, materials sciences and mathematics. Iranian researchers have until July 9 to submit their joint proposals to the Researchers and Technologists Support Fund in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology. In December 2021, the results of the call will be announced so that researchers can start implementing their plan in January 2022.

The call also supports a maximum of 15 joint research projects. Support that aims to develop scientific and technological interactions between researchers in the two countries and expand scientific activities.

The minimum duration of each research project in the form of this call is one year and the maximum duration of each project is three years, and researchers must submit their proposals in only one of the three scientific fields.
