According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Seyed Kamal Kharazi, secretary of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, stated on the 10^th national conference of education with cognitive science approach in Shahid Rajaei University in the presence of a number of students, professors and researchers that mind and brain produce knowledge. In this regard, he stated: school curriculums must be designed based on the talent of each student and use of cognitive science findings in education and growth of the mind of children, adolescents and youth will lead to significant achievements.

Interaction between Various Fields to Study Brain

Kharazi pointed out that cognitive sciences is an interdisciplinary field and is formed based on the interactions between different fields on mind and brain, conveying: the human brain has a very complicated structure, which cannot be evaluated from just one angle. In fact, we will be able to better recognize this divine promise through interactions between different fields so that the optimal method to use the brain could be detected and shortcomings and cerebral defects could be helped.

Support of Development of Cognitive Sciences

Secretary of cognitive sciences development headquarter marked that familiarization with fields of neuro-cognition, cognitive applications of the brain and mind and recognition of optimal techniques for growing the mind of children, as well as learning and teaching require cognitive sciences. In this regard, he affirmed: today, extensive efforts are dedicated to the use of cognitive science findings in education and creation of innovation based on cognitive teachings.

Secretary of cognitive sciences development headquarter also mentioned the measures taken by the headquarter to promote and improve cognitive sciences in the country, expressing: support of development of cognitive sciences in schools and providing the equipment required for performing research projects in schools, holding scientific competitions to familiarize students with cognitive science fields and directing the future of academia are among the measures taken by the headquarter to develop the knowledge of cognitive sciences in the country.
