The specialized committee of the Iran national science foundation approved the support of 87 research projects in various scientific fields.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, support of research projects of the researchers in the country is a measure taken by the Iran national science foundation. Every month, the specialized committee evaluates some projects that were approved by the specialized committee and determines the approved projects for support.

In the last meeting of the working group, 87 research projects were approved, including seven medical and veterinary projects, 10 postdoctoral projects, six agreement research projects, 12 agreement postdoctoral projects, 2 doctoral dissertations, four projects from health working group, three projects from working group of humanities, studies and innovation, 10 projects from working group of basic sciences, 14 projects in the technical and engineering working group, 10 agriculture projects, two projects in the field of education, and seven intergroup projects.

According to this group, 38% of the projects belong to researchers of Tehran and 51% are related to other provinces. The path of support has a justifiable look so that researchers can benefit from these facilities nationwide.
