Iran national science foundation announced the support of 204 new projects in its last specialized committee meeting, so that they can soon enter the implementation stage.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, support of 42 research projects, 12 postdoctoral dissertations, and 150 doctoral dissertations was approved in the last specialized committee meeting of the Iran national science foundation to provide the foundations for activities of researchers in the country more than before.

Some of the achievements of the approved projects include guaranteeing the publication of 138 ISI articles on Q1 level, one ISI article on Q2 level, 160 ISI articles, 11 ISC articles, two JCR articles, 29 scientific research articles, production of eight book titles, one software, one device production, two patent registrations, two sample productions, three production of laboratory products, two technical knowledge and design of three conceptual models.

These projects will soon enter the implementation stage, so that their achievements could increase the academic level of the country. In fact, the specialized committee is one of the pillars of Iran national science foundation, which is responsible for final approval of research projects to be supported by the foundation. To this end, the approved research projects in each 13 various workgroups of the foundation are delivered to the specialized committee to be confirmed.
