“The program of cooperation with non-resident Iranian specialists and entrepreneurs” was the second volume of a book that presents a clear image of the reality of migration of educated students. The book focuses on the evaluation of the program implemented for several years to return Iranian experts to the country.
The ecosystem of innovation and technology has properly grown in the past few years with support provided from various organizations. In this regard, several non-resident Iranian researchers have returned to the country and made great improvements in the area of startup and knowledge-based activities.
In a situation where unreliable news is trying to provide incorrect statistics on the migration of educated students, it is good to take a look at the statistics of the return of specialists and researchers to the country. Therefore, the second volume of the book gathered by a group of experts of Iran Migration Observatory focuses on the cooperation with non-resident Iranian experts and entrepreneurship. According to the statistics presented in this book, with the creation of appropriate infrastructure, the participation of more than 4,700 Iranian specialists and researchers abroad in this program has been done and more than 1,200 Iranian researchers from the world"s top universities are currently involved. They have returned to the country. The book describes in detail the programs, such as the number of technological projects, institutions, and centers that employ these full-time employees.
