According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, pointed out the value and high position of service startups in the country during the opening ceremony of the 11^th international exhibition of stock exchange, banking and insurance, stating: the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs will fully support all service startups in the country since it is the foundation for emergence of new businesses and implementation of knowledge-based economy in Iran.

He added: the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs supports service startups since we believe that our youth with great ideas are similar to the soldiers of the country, fighting at the economic and entrepreneurship front. Fortunately, the number of startups in various fields has significantly increase over the past few years.

In another part of his speech, Sattari expressed: the social networks have grown in the country due to lack of attention to our youth. If we had trusted the ideas of these individuals, we could stand against Telegram and have a domestic social media with all similar features. Our problem is lack of believing in the youth.

According to Sattari, the cyberspace is growing and there is nothing we can do with the presence of Google in houses of all society members? In fact, the main cause of problems created by Telegram is improper support of domestic startups.

The vice president for science and technology affairs continued: lack of support of startups and the youth will lead to surrounding to other countries and allowing the emigration of the talented youth to other countries.

He also talked about prevention of work of startups and attacking some of their offices, expressing that scientific progress is inevitable.

According to this authority, the traditional economic system of the country stands against new startups while the startups will be economic leaders and wealth makers of the future of the country. Today, the new generation of entrepreneurship is being developed in the country and knowledge-based companies are developing every day.

The vice president for science and technology affairs also asserted: for instance, the value of one of the startups in the area of transportation is about one billion Rials, which indicates the high abilities of this type of new businesses. Before that, people have often had bad behaviors regarding the youth who emigrated and returned to the country to start startups in the area of urban taxis. This could also occur in the area of banks and insurance.

President of the national elites foundation believes that the authorities must welcome the service startups in the country since they provide clear and inexpensive services to people without intermediations. In this way, people would also recognize the actual worth of these services.

Service Startups, the Main Pillar of Knowledge-based Economy

According to Sattari, development of service startups is the main pillar of knowledge-based economy in the country. Without the growth of these startups, we cannot move from traditional economy to establishment of new businesses.

He also pointed out: the largest platform of return of elites to the country is startups and knowledge-based companies and not universities. This is sufficient for confirming the worth and position of startups in the country. Over the past two years, we have been able to return two hundred youth to the country with platform of startups and knowledge-based companies.

Sattari regarded the development of venture capitals as the only solution for development of startups in the country.

President of the national elites foundation continued: belief of the youth in the banking, stock exchange and insurance systems is also the only way to change the path from the traditional system to new system since the current banking system will be replaced by the new system very soon.

It is worth noting that Sorena Sattari, Abdolnaser Hemati, head of head of central insurance, and Shapour Mohammadi, head of the stock exchange organization, were present in the opening ceremony of the 11^th exhibition of stock exchange, banking and insurance.
