The first vice president of the 12th government mentioned the presence of families of martyr Mohsen Hojaji in the ceremony, asserting: martyr Hojaji is one of the valuable martyrs, who died at a significant time and place. The way he was murdered, as well as his power and strength against terrorists is commendable.
Jahangiri also pointed out the great work of the 11th government in various sections of economy, executive, policy, culture, and foreign affairs, adding: when we compare to beginning of the 11th government with the its condition today, it is only fair to say that significant actions have been performed in various sections, including information technology.
Emphasizing on the prioritization of economy in the current condition of the country, he stated that attention to this issue has been stated by our Supreme Leader in his last meeting with the government board.
Jahangiri also pointed out the significant importance of information technology and attention to economy of resistance in this area, declaring: communication and information technology play an important role in realization of five main approaches of the economy of resistance.
The first vice president introduced extroversion as another approach of the economy of resistance, expressing: extroversion is defined as relationship and interaction with the whole world. The main property and basis of communication and information technology is interaction with the world. In this regard, we have to reach the point where software and hardware products are exported to other countries.
According to Jahangiri, another approach of the economy of resistance is knowledge-based products and services. In this regard, he asserted: as emphasized by the Supreme Leader and president of Iran, as well as the experts and scholars of the country, reliance on natural resources in the 21st century cannot meet the needs of the society members. In this era, an economy based on knowledge and thoughts of human beings can be successful, realization of which depends on many factors, including advanced information technology.
The first vice president of the government also pointed out some of the programs and priorities of the government in the area of information technology.
In this ceremony, Jahangiri asked the new minister of communication and information technology to create a system, so that the president and senior authorities of the government could be constantly informed about the level of progress of the e-government, so that the necessary foundations for cooperation with other organizations could be laid.
The first vice president also added: new business companies and startups must conduct their activities in a lawful manner and within the framework of the laws of the country, so that other organizations are not able to disrupt the work of companies that are mainly comprised of young manpower. In this regard, it is essential that proper conditions be provided by the ministry for communication and information technology, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and legal assistant of the president so that related enterprises could be able to work within the framework of the laws of the country.
At the end of his speech, Jahangiri appreciated the efforts of Dr. Vazei, the former minister of communication and information technology, stating: Jahromi, the new minister of communication and information technology, has an important responsibility. Fortunately, he is an intelligent and capable man, and as far as I know, those who had doubts about him will apologize for their distrust.
In addition, the first vice president unveiled the memorial stamp of martyr Hojaji in front of his family and wrote in the memorial tablet of this stamp: “Rest in peace dear Hojaji, who made Iranians proud by his power and strength”.
