The first startup event on fuel field will be held by the support of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration to evaluate investment on automation of petrol stations in the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first startup event on fuel field will be held with the goal of finding investors for automation of petrol stations in the country. The event focuses on different financial and economic, governance and management, industry and technology and cultural and social areas.

Automation of stations is a necessity for developing product distribution industry and proper planning in the section of fuel basket of automobiles. Automation helps the simultaneous delivery of information of type and amount of fuel used for each automobile to the center, management of cost and depositing the share of the government and the station owner at the time of payment.

This startups event will be held with the support of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration along with the third international specialized exhibition of petrol stations and related industries.

The third international specialized exhibition of petrol stations and related industries will be held September 22^nd-25^th, 2019 to present the latest technical and technological achievements in this field. Some of the main topics of the event include “entrepreneurship and startups”, “evaluation of role of location-based technologies in management and planning and studies on petrol stations”, “evaluation of standards and technical necessities”, and “evaluation of comprehensive solutions to manage stations”.

Holding specialized exhibitions is crucial to present latest achievements in the field and update the standards of fuel stations. Since more than 100 million L of products are distributed at petrol stations across the country on a daily basis, turnover and occupation level of which are overlooked, automation of the industry can play an effective role in the development of the field.
