According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sirous Vatankhah, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, pointed out the fourth conference of technology and energy management is one of the most challenging and strategic areas of the country, expressing: if neglected, this area can be turned into one of the serious problems of the energy field.

Vatankhah continued: energy is the basis of any issue in the society and requires strategic management. However, this has been less emphasized in Iran. Therefore, strategic guidance of energy must be managed by the energy association.

He pointed out that the meaning of energy management in the country is management of the total energy value chain. In this regard, he asserted: this management must be considered in all stages of energy, including supply and consumption. Iran is an enriched country of energy, including oil, gas, solar, wind and ground. Nevertheless, there is improper management and exploitation of this energy.

The fourth international conference of technology and energy management is held in the presence of science and industry authorities and figures of the country in Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran. This conference has the approach of energy, safety and environment and will showcase the latest science, research and industry achievements to advance energy management knowledge and develop environmental quality.
