According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, there is always a gap between academic educations, acquired skills and ideas of a person and entering the market and creative innovative businesses. This gap must be passed by a leap, for which an appropriate run-up must be performed.  

“Dourkhiz” is an educational and experimental program, which will be held three-seven days and includes various and interesting stages. In this program, challenges and issues of organizations, businesses and various industries are presented within the framework of the desired areas. During the program, teams can participate in educational workshops, monitoring and counseling programs and working groups in order to find solutions for challenges and present innovative ideas.

What Is Going on in “Dourkhiz”?

In this event, the actual challenges and issues of organizations are presented. Following that, the ideas are presented in order to solve the challenges. After that, the top ideas are selected and teams are formed, which work on their idea to turn it into a primary product until the end of the program.

During the program, in addition to teamwork, educational workshops and monitoring sessions are included to make improvements in ideas. In addition, instructors and counselors of the program will be constantly in contact with teams to answer their questions.

“Dourkhiz”, a Foundation for Facilitation of Demand-driven Innovation

Participants of “Dourkhiz” event will learn about the challenges and problems of businesses and establish their creative ideas based on the current challenges. Moreover, with regard to the real nature of challenges, participants aim to create low-risk businesses. Furthermore, they will learn some issues in scientific and applicable workshop with regard to the method of lean startup and use of experienced mentors.

In fact, “Dourkhiz” is not just a three-day event and its goal is to create completely principled business based on the current challenges in this area.

Companies and industries can express their challenges and be actively present in this event in order obtain proper ideas about their challenges and possibility be supported and use the final outputs of the program.

Stages of the event

Stage 1: at first, challenges of organizations are presented on the website and information channels of “Dourkhiz” and participants are required to express their ideas and register for the event based on these challenges.

Stage 2: in pre-events of this phenomenon, ideas are evaluated, top ideas are selected, and teams and networks are formed based on innovative ideas.

Stage 3: in the main program, teams will participate in workshops, receive counseling and monitoring and work in a pre-determined space to achieve the final content.

Stage 4: at the end of the last day, the final project will be presented to teams, top projects are selected and top teams receive the cash and non-cash awards.

The innovative event of “Dourkhiz” will be held February 8^th 2018 with the support of innovation accelerator of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
