Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: Iran has reached self-reliance in the area of airplane repair and maintenance.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, expressed that one of the successes of Iran after the revolution was the development of industry of airplane repair and maintenance. In this regard, he affirmed: one of the successes of Iran after the revolution was development of industry of repair and maintenance of different types of military airplanes, helicopters and commercial airplanes.

He added: we can say that we have reached self-reliance in this field and can even present services to other regional countries. According to Manteghi, many countries of the world are not self-reliance in the area of design and construction of drones, and even if they design a drone, the majority of its pieces are provided by other countries. However, we are self-reliant and can produce all pieces ourselves.
