The national festival of free flight of Iran will be held for students in line with the development of infrastructures and extension of the aviation culture among these individuals.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this festival will be held by relying on the abilities of top creative knowledge-based technology growth centers and academy of young aerospace club of the Iran national space administration across nation.

For the first time, the national festival of free flight of Iran will be held with the goals of “identification of talents in the aerospace field” and “creating teams to participate in international and global competitions”.

This competition is officially designed in cooperation with the ministry of education. The educational and standard contents of free flight in the theory and practical sections include the manufacturing of airplane model in two glider and motor designing groups, which will be presented to schools and student research centers in the form of packages.

The first free flight national festival of Iran will be held in three sections of “competition”, “exhibition” and “free educational workshops” in four levels of school, city, province and country.
