The president of the academic center for education, culture and research stated: scientific and technologies research is the only way to develop the industry of medical plants.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Hamidreza Tayebi, the president of the academic center for education, culture and research, expressed on the fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and Iranian medicine, asserting: this event is an effective and successful festival and plays a good role in introducing the products of this field to the people and authorities.
He continued: the philosophy of holding festivals in any field is recognizing and introducing the proper products of that area. In addition, individuals who seek jobs can find their desired products.
According to Tayebi, holding such festivals will lead to the introducing of products in each industry to the authorities so that they could learn about the current condition of industries and their needs and shortages.
He also claimed: people have greatly welcomed the festival of medical plants, and a large number of people have attended the exhibition, which presents completely natural and organic products.
The president of the academic center for education, culture and research pointed out the ancient history of Iran in the area of medical plants, asserting: Iran has had a great condition in terms of history, geography, and ecosystem, for producing medical plants other medical products.
He believes that in order to develop the industry of medical plants, it is necessary to conduct scientific and technological studies. Given the limited financial resources of the country in the field of research, it is essential that large-scale plant agencies be established in the country.
