Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: one of the plans of the administration for development of relations of Iran with other countries in the area of satellite technology is expanding satellite positioning services with the help of global systems.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, head of Iran national space administration, pointed out the necessity of developing international relations in the satellite area, expressing: various measures have been taken by the administration to develop international activities. In this regard, one of the plans is expanding positioning services with the help of global systems.

He added: in addition, expanding the scientific and academic relations with the aim of improving the scientific level of space area is another plans of the administration.

According to Manteghi, providing telecommunication satellite before construction and operation of native satellites and providing remote-sensing satellite before making and operation of native satellites are some of the priorities of this administration.

Nevertheless, he asserted: in this regard, proper scientific and technological collaborations have been created with advanced countries to design and manufacture satellites. In line with supplying the required satellites, technology transfer will be carried out as well.
