According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, talked about the realization of creation of entrepreneurial ecosystem for top talents and local elites through the development of knowledge-based economy with the role-playing of universities. In this regard, he stated: emphasis on the work of the youth and use of the abilities of local top talents in each town can lead to the flourishing of the capacity of knowledge-based economy with the help of academics of the country.

Sattari emphasized that realization of the role-playing of research in the areas of economy and social welfare requires both change of attitude toward this field and entering the private sector to the path of investment in applicable research. In this respect, he continued: despite the establishment of various research centers with government money, we have still been unable to solve the major problems of the industry. This is mainly due to the fact that government perspective cannot lead to the applicability of research. Therefore, change of attitude toward research and education must be taken into consideration, so that it could lead to the entering of the private sector and support of innovative ideas without the direct interference of the government.

He also marked that the new model of knowledge-based economy has been built on this notion, adding: the outcome of this change of attitude is the creation of a proper environment with the title of knowledge-based economy, where in addition to the emergence of talents and abilities of entrepreneurs and technologists of the country, more than three thousand knowledge-based companies have created 400 thousand billion IRR of turnover, significantly affecting the economic growth of the country.

President of the knowledge-based economy and technology development headquarter also asserted: in addition to the role-playing of knowledge-based companies, educated youth are more motivated to be active in this field and establish their own business, which will also motivate others to establish new and creative businesses.

According to Sattari, high evaluation rate of startups can lead to their development. In this regard, he expressed: Jahrom has a great potential and capacity in various areas. Role-playing of universities in innovative businesses by educated youth can help solving provincial problems regarding salary and occupation.

Opportunity of Growth of the Country Due to Decreased Emigration of Elites

The president of the national elites foundation mentioned the decreased emigration of Iranian students and the opportunity to return top elites to the country, asserting: in the past, 100 thousand Iranian students from 170 thousand students were studying abroad, in a way that 57% of these individuals were studying in America, creating the largest colony of foreign students in this country. However, establishment of innovative business infrastructures has led to significant decrease of non-resident Iranian students and has paved the path of returning young elites to the country.

According to Sattari, from four million and 700 thousand students of the country, which is a unique capacity, only 12 thousand students are in America, which has been realized by creation of proper infrastructures for education and formation of creative businesses by students.

Inauguration of the Clean Room of a Knowledge-based Company

The vice president for science and technology affairs attended the opening ceremony of a clean room of NaderTeb knowledge-based company as the first part of his travel to Jahrom.

Establishment of this technology unit, which is located at the sterile center of the south, will lead to the increase of production capacity of domestic medical equipment, level of import and exit of currently due to self-efficacy in manufacturing of products in this area.
