The Iran national science foundation has recently approved the support of the implementation of 82 research projects.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the specialized committee of Iran national science foundation approved the support of 82 research projects (including 64 research projects and 18 postdoctoral projects) in its final meeting. These projects are in various areas, such as medicine, humanities, engineering, basic sciences, agriculture, climate change and environment, which are supported based on the needs and priorities of the country.

In addition, some of the achievements of these projects are listed in the table below.

According to this report, research groups in the foundation have been defined by the title of specialized workgroups based on the importance of extension of all sciences (disciplinary and interdisciplinary), so that researchers of the country in various scientific fields are supported based on needs and priorities and in line with performing research tasks. Support of the confirmed projects in these workgroups will be finalized in the specialized committee of the foundation.
