Recognition of the current advancements in pre-clinical imaging

“Latest advancements in pre-clinical imaging” is the title of a specialized international meeting that will be held by the pre-clinical laboratory.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this specialized international meeting will be held with the goal of development and importance of pre-clinical imaging in the research process of researchers. Lectures will be held by prominent professors of the area. For instance, professor Zayedi from University of Geneva, Switzerland, will talk about the new findings of PET in pre-clinical imaging. In addition, professor Cho from Seoul University of Korea, will present a lecture on MRI in pre-clinical imaging.

This meeting will be held October 10th 2018 in the central headquarter of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. For registration, please refer to the website of the pre-clinical laboratory.

Given the importance of pre-clinical studies and lack of required equipment to perform studies, the pre-clinical laboratory was established last year to provide services to researchers of the country using the most equipped devices in the field. This laboratory is equipped with high-tech equipment, all of which have been designed and produced by knowledge-based companies. This laboratory is specifically important for institutionalizing pre-clinical tests and culture of fundamental studies based on imaging physic.
