According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, stated about the development of venture capitals in the aerial industry, expressing: if we want to name an important lost loop for aerial knowledge-based companies in the country, we need to mention the financial support and venture capitals.

He added: aerial knowledge-based companies have more risks compared to traditional and knowledge-based companies, especially in the establishment stage. Therefore, supply of required financial resources by accepting the involved risks is a key factor in this regard.

According to Manteghi, accepting this risk by the company itself is not possible in most cases, which highlights the importance of venture capitals, since they accurately manage these risks in knowledge-based companies.

He believes that the topic of venture capitals is an inseparable part of commercialization cycle, which should be considered more than before.

Chairman of Iran national space administration continued: the headquarter has aimed to create a venture capital process as a new method of financial support through receiving stock shares and management helps in young, small, and growing companies with bright future in terms of economy.

He also asserted: in this regard, our administration has been able to evaluate the method to create this section in aerial industry by performing studies on these factors.
