According to the Public Relations and Information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology Affairs, Parviz Karami, secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, pointed out the publication of the 9^th volume of a series of reports on evaluation of global experiences of startups, asserting: evaluation of global experiences of startup companies in the field of energy and assessment of activities, technologies, and business models of these enterprises are evaluated in this book, which is published by Technological Knowledge-based Publications.

According to Karami, startups are the new players in the field of energy. In this regard, he continued: in recent years, one of the most important issues in the field of energy and its related political issues is the transition of energy and the changing rules of the game in this area. The energy transition is also an expression for the four main pillars of the change in this area, namely the decentralization and dimming of the role of governments, the creation of a new integrated ecosystem and the development of business models, the move towards sustainability and digitization.

Advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned that all dimensions and components of energy transition have been evaluated in this book, expressing: in addition, a part of the book is allocated to the evaluation of startups as new cooperators of large companies. In the past few years, the large energy players of the world have been among the pioneers in the development of startup ecosystem.
