The manager of the strategic technologies laboratory network expressed: the network has implemented the procurement and supply of reference materials from reputable international manufacturers in the form of a private company.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Reza Asadifard, manager of the strategic technologies laboratory network, expressed about supply of standard reference samples and calibration for members of the network: in many cases, the provision of reference materials is difficult due to high costs and sanction conditions for network member centers. Therefore, we have been supplying reference materials from reputable international manufacturers as a private company.

He continued: the company has other activities, such as promotion and in general and specialized training in the field of selection and proper use of reference materials, conducting an inter-laboratory comparative test, as well as carrying out network, national and international skill tests.

According to Asadifard, a total of 147 reference samples were prepared and provided to members of the network last year.

He also asserted: standard reference materials or certified reference materials are referred to as materials used to control the functionality of devices. These materials are used for the validation of the analytical measurement methods or calibration equipment.
