The second symposium of new findings in the area of brain-mapping will be held in Iran with the goal of promoting, empowering, and developing experts in the field of brain-mapping and cognitive sciences.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Reza Ay, head of the national brain-mapping laboratory, pointed out the presence of top researchers of brain-mapping in the event during the news conference of the event, stating: holding this symposium is a promotional program for laboratories in this field in order to exchange and receive information in the presence of domestic and international researchers.

Ay continued: the symposium will be held October 10^th-11^th, 2018 to witness higher synergy to develop brain-mapping technologies and update the information of researchers. Holding educational workshop, specialized meetings and lectures are among the programs of the event.

Empowering Experts in the Field of Brain-mapping

Hossein Ghadiri, executive secretary of the symposium, expressed: empowering, developing and growing experts in the field of brain-mapping and cognitive sciences are the missions of the national brain-mapping laboratory. In this regard, the second round of the symposium will be held with regard to the success of the first round of the event.

Ghadiri continued: a great event was designed in the field of brain-mapping from September 23^rd to October 22^nd, 2018 by the national brain-mapping laboratory that includes educational workshops, scientific seminars, specialized meetings and lectures by researchers. A part of these 30 days is assigned to holding the symposium, in which domestic and international experts will exchange scientific information.

He regarded the goal of the event to be increasing the ability and information in the field so that the country could be placed on the list of top countries of the field.

Introducing the Abilities of Knowledge-based Companies in the Brian-mapping Area

Ghadiri mentioned holding the festival of brain-mapping research and technology as a side event of the symposium, affirming: this festival will be held with the aim of supporting and introducing the abilities of brain-mapping knowledge-based companies. In this festival, the knowledge-based companies will have a space to introduce their products and services. Therefore, an opportunity will be provided for companies to provide their technology to researchers in-person. In addition, 10 companies were entered into the festival.
