Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated: the program for using bio-fuels by the biotechnology development headquarter is designed and presented to the government.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter, stated about the current condition of bio-fuel program in the country: this program is ready and but faced some problems in the previous government. Therefore, we presented it in this government. Currently, we await the opinion of the ministry of industry.

He added: in this government, opinions of ministry of industry toward the use of bio-fuels have been more positive. According to Ghanei, limited amount of fossil fuels, as well as their expensive costs and high damages have led to the use of renewable energies by humans, one of which is bio-fuels.
