Presidency Vice President for Science and Technology Affairs Headed to Moscow
According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami- consultant of the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs announced this news and declared: Dr. Soorena Sattari accompanied by a group of heads of knowledge-based companies, universities and chief managers of the country’s science and technology departed to Moscow, capital of Russian Federation today (Monday).
President of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs continued: In this 2-day trip, Dr. Sattari and the accompanying delegation will attend the 3rd meeting of the supreme commission of technology cooperation of Iran and Russia. The presidency vice president for science and technology affairs is the head of the Iranian party in this commission and Dmitry Raguzin- deputy of the prime minister of Russian Federation will be head of the Russian party.
Stating that the second meeting of technology supreme commission of Iran and Russia was held in December 2015 concurrently with the trip of Vladimir Putin-president of Russian Federation to Iran, Karami expressed: In this trip, the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs and the accompanying delegation will visit academic, scientific and technology centers of Russia. In the following, different meetings will be held among the joint task forces of the supreme commission of technology cooperation of Iran and Russia established during the previous trip.
Consultant of the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs stated that another program of the Iranian delegation’s trip to Moscow was Sattari and Andrei Fursenko –Vladimir Putin’s special assistance visit in the field of science and technology.
According to Karami, regarding the plannings carried out by Iranian and Russian parties during the last two years, nearly 40 projects in different fields such as nano, bio, medical equipments, treating incurable illnesses, cognitive sciences, academic cooperation and knowledge-based companies’ cooperation and such fields have been broached for beginning new cooperations and some of them have been finalized and some are being negotiated and pursued which will analyzed and decided on at the 3rd meeting of the supreme commission of technology cooperation of Iran and Russia and related task forces which consists of 6 task forces.
