Competition of marine idea market of the festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” will be held in two high school and university students by the related secretariat located at the growth center of Noshahr in November in Tehran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this competition is introduced as one of the main sections of the third national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” in three parts, including holding three educational workshop, three-minute demonstration of selected ideas and oral presentation of final ideas and expressing the current challenges and opportunities in the marine area for participants, who are mostly entrepreneurs and owners of marine industries and investors of the private sectors.

Majid Yousefi, secretary of the second round of national competition of marine idea market stated: generally, idea making competitions are held worldwide to gather and accelerate the entrance of ideas in various fields to the market, so that the process of turning ideas into final products is facilitated. Therefore, the second round of this competition will be held by the secretariat of the growth center of Noshahr with some changes along with applicability of ideas and more support of their commercialization by marine knowledge-based industry, technology and science development headquarter with the cooperation of Imam Khomeini University of Marine Sciences of Noshahr and technology park of Mazandaran in the third national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress”.

Secretary of the second round of the national competition of marine idea market stated that this competition has been planned along with the commercialization and applicability of ideas, expressing: marine idea market competitions are held to familiarize individuals with creative and new ideas in the marine area for support of commercialization in two high school and university student sections. This is the first time that high school students can participate in such events.

According to this report, the section of marine idea market competition of the national festival of “Sea, the Path to Progress” will be held October 31^st-November 2^nd, 2017, in which 10 best high school and university ideas will be appreciated and three best ideas will be awarded.
