According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the festival of “Made in Iran” will be held with the aim of content production for cyberspace, related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of domestically produced knowledge-based products and services, management of excessive imports and valuating high-quality Iranian products and services and facilitating the highlighting of high-quality Iranian products. This festival was available at the location of the 34^th short movie festival of Tehran, displaying its goals by having a booth in the exhibition.

The 34^th short movie festival of Tehran was held to identify and introduce the best short movies on a national and international level. In addition, some of the other purposes of this event included the improvement of cinematic knowledge, creation of a competitive space for filmmakers, recognition and introduction of talents of cinema, fixing the position of the short film as future and independent cinema (Andishe Cinema), domestic and international marketing and economic supply of film to the benefit of short film producers.

This festival is held annually in two sections of cinema of Iran and international cinema. In the section of cinema of Iran, all products that are within the framework of goals of the festival and in the form of stories, documents, experiments and animation, can participate in the event.

The international section includes foreign movies (the producing company other than Iran) in the form of story, documents, animation and experiments.

The opening ceremony of the 34^th international festival of short movie of Tehran was held October 22^nd 2017. In this round of the festival, 117 countries demanded to participate in the festival, and a total of six thousand works was evaluated, which took about seven months. At the end and on the closing ceremony of the festival, top works of each section were rewarded.
