According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the 15^th round of the festival of image of the year and festival of image movie along with the annual exhibition of photography, graphics and caricature fields in two sections of competition and exhibition of “Yazd; A Global City” and “Made in Iran” has been regarded along with the photography competition of “Our Iran” and “Mobile Photography”.

According to this report, this round of the festival, special section of photography competition and exhibition of “Made in Iran”, will be held with the approach of “Iranian technology for Iranian business” along with “the second national art and culture festival of made in Iran” and by the efforts of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter.

Therefore, all photos taken from Iranian businesses and producers in various fields, such as industry, agriculture and animal husbandry, science, culture, art, and architecture of the country, which are indicative of the promotion and support of Iranian products and efforts to achieve national self-efficacy in the modern world, are presented and evaluated in this special section. At the end, the top photos will be showcased in the form of an independent exhibition along with the festival of image of the year.

Moreover, a golden statue, an appreciation diploma and a cash prize (40 million IRR) will be provided for the top photographer and an appreciation diploma and cash prize (10 million IRR) will be given to another three top selected photos. The number of images for this section of “made in Iran” competition is approximately 10 pieces.

To deliver arts in this section, applicants must register on the website and upload their photos with the maximum volume of 100 kilobytes and sending a CD of 30*45 cm with 300 dpi. The delivered photos must have the required conditions. Participation in this section is open to the public and there is no age restriction.

The entrance fee for the especial section of “Made in Iran” is 150 thousand IRR. After paying this fee, photographers are allowed to upload their work. Enthusiasts of this field can send their photos December 21^st 2017-January 14^th 2018. The 15^th round of the festival of image of the year and festival of image movie will be held February 19^th-March 10^th, 2018 in Iranian artists forum.

According to this report, after great appreciation of the first round of the “Made in Iran” festival in the last year, the stages of the second round of this festival are carried out. Some of the goals of this round of the event include streaming and content creation for cyberspace related to the commercialization cycle, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of Iranian made knowledge-based products and services, organizing excessive import and valuating Iranian products and goods, and help the branding of high-quality Iranian products. Different sections of this event include literature, visual arts, visual and auditory media, digital media and idea market. This festival will be held February 26^th-March 2^nd, 2018 by the efforts of the knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter and general secretariat of Parviz Karami.
