According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the 10^th meeting of the strategic council of the first student Olympiad on stem cells and regenerative medicine was held at the location of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs in the presence of Amir Ali Hamidieh, secretary of stem cells science and technology development headquarter, and Mokhtar Jalai, education deputy of Tarbiat Modares University.

In the beginning of the session, the process of meetings was reviewed and performed correspondences were expressed: holding student Olympiad on stem cells and regenerative medicine on a national and international level is one of the outlooks of the strategic plan of stem cells science and technology development headquarter.

Deputy of education of Tarbiat Modares University emphasized the importance of holding this Olympiad on various educational levels and its inclusiveness on the national and international levels, affirming: by eliminating the boarders, that causes the lack of growth of a science, we can obtain significant developments.

Secretary of stem cells science and technology development headquarter also introduced the results of university entrance exam of the students of the first Olympiad on stem cells and regenerative medicine to be at a rate, indicating the necessity of science promotion in the country and importance of activities of students and universities in this area.

He also marked: we have to pay more attention to this issue since the horizon of stem cell science is much wider and applicable. In this regard, students and academics can play a considerable role. In addition, holding similar Olympiads can lead to the detection, attraction, growth, and support of current talents in this scientific event.
