This committee has provided various solutions for this task. Maintenance and evaluation of genetic sources and creation of oak gene bank by biotechnology methods is one of these solutions.

In addition, evaluation of aspects of biological control of fungi and insects is seriously followed by this committee. Furthermore, “evaluation of factors affecting oak decay and drying (alive and dead tensions) using molecular biotechnology methods and factors assisting the elimination of the mentioned problem, such as reinforcing factors” and “production of medicinal secondary metabolites using biotechnology methods”, are some of the other actions of this committee.
