The president of the Iranian national science foundation visited the fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and Iranian medicine (traditional), regarding this field as an area that not only cannot be sanctioned, but also it increases the export opportunities of the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ali Vahdat, the president of the national elites foundation, regarded the space of this festival to be a joyful environment and a favorable space created due to the welcoming of the audiences.

He considered the use of Iranian saffron as a successful example of personal welcoming of high-quality Iranian products, adding: on the fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and Iranian medicine (traditional), we have seen products and drugs, the raw materials of which are made in Iran and have been able to be effective in their own field. In addition, the Vice-Presidency has been able to properly promote this field. Therefore, people welcome these products with complete awareness.

He emphasized the lack of ability to set sanctions against medical plants, natural products, and Iranian medicine, affirming: the abilities and potentials of this field in the country are so powerful that provide an opportunity for export and no sanctions can be set against the products of this field.

The fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and Iranian medicine (traditional) is held November 11th-14th 2018 in Musala of Tehran by the efforts of the medicinal plants and traditional medicine sciences and technologies development headquarter.
