In line with emphasis on development of ideas and support of new ideas in the marine field, the second round of competitions of marine idea market will be held in line with holding the third national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress”.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Majid Yousefi, manager of growth center of technology units and secretary of the section of “marine idea market in the third national festival of Sea, the Path of Progress”, emphasized the importance of support of new ideas in the marine field, stating: the growth center of technology units of Noshahr, which is affiliated to science and technology park of Mazandaran, has aimed to hold the second round of competition of marine idea market as one of the major sections of the third national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” with the cooperation of marine knowledge-based industries and technology development headquarter to support new ideas in this field.

Yousefi continued: the first round of the competitions was held last year by this center and in collaboration with the science and technology park of Mazandaran. This year, the high school student section, in addition to the university student and free sections, was added to the competition, assessment of which was carried out separately. In total, valuable and worthy awards will be given to 10 best ideas.

He also asserted: evaluation of ideas in the mentioned five groups in the second stage and in two high school and university sections will be carried out by 40 members of the scientific committee. At the end, 34 ideas will move on to the final stage.

According to Torabi, the final assessment stage will be performed on November 2^nd 2017. In this regard, he affirmed: in the final stage, 34 ideas will be selected, 21 of which will be from high school student section and the other 14 will be from university student section.

As one of the active individuals in the section of idea market, Torabi added: ideas will be separately assessed by 20 members of the scientific commission, and 10 best ideas will be selected from each high school and university section.

According to this report, the third national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” will be held October 31^st-November 2^nd, 2017 in Holy Defense Museum by the support of knowledge-based industries and technology development headquarter.
