National competition of novel idea on application of fMRI technique will be held
The first national competition of novel idea on application of fMRI technique will be held by national brain-mapping laboratory.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the main goal of this competition is attracting applicable ideas from researchers to solve the common problems in the area of medicine of the country, especially sleep studies and neural defects, including dementia and developmental nerve diseases and application of humanities, such as economy and behavior (e.g., neuro-marketing, and cognitive education).
This competition was held in two in-person and virtual stages. In the virtual stage, an abstract of the ideas was evaluated by the judging panel consisting of professors of top universities of the country, followed by inviting the top ideas to defend their programs in the final stage. In addition, registration deadline of the event is May 21st 2018, and the final stage will be held in July.
