Nanotechnology laboratory with Iranian equipment is inaugurated in Cuba

The nanotechnology laboratory in medical area is inaugurated in Havana, Cuba using Iranian equipment by the efforts of the nanotechnology development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Tavana Iranian Company has equipped and established a laboratory in Havana, Cuba with the cooperation of the nanotechnology development headquarter after establishing another two laboratories in China.

This laboratory contained nine Iranian products, including scanning probe microscope (SPM), desktop address layer, ionic mobility spectrometer, fluorescent molecular imaging, laboratory electronics, ultrasound homogenization, freeze dryer, hyper thermography, and cell separator.

Eight manufacturing companies of the mentioned equipment played a role in equipping the laboratory as supply chain of Tavana Co. The desktop address layer is produced by nanostructure coverages companies, whereas the freeze dryer, fluorescent molecular imaging, ultrasound homogenization, cell separator, ionic mobility spectrometer, laboratory electronics, SPM and hyper thermography are manufactured by Pishtazan Equipping Company, Parse Nouri Tajhiz Afarinan Co., Ultrasound Technology Development Company, Rahyab Industry and Medicine Co., Espadana Test Spectrum Co., Meghias Nanotechnology Co., and Pars Nano System Co., respectively.

This inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Kambiz Sheikh Hasani, ambassador of Iran in Cuba, and Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter.

In addition, a cooperation development agreement was signed between Iran and Cuba along with the program.
