The municipalities of the macro cities of Iran will develop smart cities that will utilize technologies on the seventh round of the international innovation and technology exhibition (INOTEX), which will be held by the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, with regard to the fast growth of populations and its accumulation in cities of the world, which have led to increased size of cities and many associated problems, it is important to use technology in management of cities and make advancement in technologies and information and communication technologies and internet of things. Therefore, the seventh international exhibition of INOTEX2018 has the topic of “smart city” and slogan of “smart city; smart life”.

In this regard, this round of the exhibition has various programs to introduce technologies and innovations related to smart city, including the fourth meeting on innovation networking, in the presence of experts of the field in various countries and the meeting of the municipalities of the macro cities of Iran.

With regard to the priorities of urban development in the country, the topics of this event include smart mobility, smart energy management and smart home and environment. Registration for the meeting will soon be available.

The seventh international exhibition of innovation and technology of INOTEX 2018 is the largest specialized exhibition in the area of technology and innovation in the country, which will be held July 5^th-7^th, 2018 at the location of specialized exhibitions of municipality of Tehran by the efforts of Pardis technology park.
