According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sirous Vatankhah, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, stated about the measures taken by the headquarter in the new year: the main emphasis on the energy headquarter in 2018 is on areas of oil and gas, renewable energy, electricity, optimization and environment of energy. However, given the condition of energy area of the country, subjects such as innovation ecosystem, accelerating, development of new businesses, development of knowledge-based companies, development of energy optimization market, empowering and use of the capacity of private sector and young generation of the country have been emphasized in the new year.

Vatankhah continued: with regard to the current policies in the area of energy, moving toward the development of new businesses in the area of energy and activation of the private sector and optimization and knowledge-based market have been emphasized more than before. Moreover, the activation headquarter has put the mentioned issues on its agenda. I hope that this year, we are able to design proper executive measures to eliminate the problems in the area of knowledge-based energy.
