Memorandum of Understanding/Knowledge-based companies Will Help Cyberspace Security

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology and Iranian Cyber Police regarding joint cooperation and using the capacity of activists in the knowledge-based ecosystem in order to create an opportunity for using the abilities of activists of the ecosystem in the path of establishment of cyberspace security.

The necessary foundations will be laid for more cyberspace security with the help of knowledge-based companies and startups by signing a memorandum of understanding by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Vahid Majid, cyber police chief.

Supporting Knowledge-based Companies Active in Cyberspace Security

According to the memorandum of understanding signed between the two organizations, both parties will use their capacities to develop knowledge-based companies, startups, and specialized accelerators in the field of cyberspace and information and technology security.

Selling technological products of knowledge-based companies, implementing investment solutions in the area of cyberspace security, attracting investors and financial resources in technological projects of the field are other topics of the MoU.

In addition, the development of cyberspace security projects with the cooperation of knowledge-based companies and accelerators are among the topics of the MoU signed by the Vice-Presidency and cyberspace police. The capacity of research and technology funds, science and technology parks of the country to implement a joint research project in the field of new technologies of cyber security is to be mapped.

During the meeting, Sattari visited different parts of the cyber police department and the achievements of the organization in the area of cyberspace security.

A Foundation Laid to Prevent Crimes in the Cyberspace

In this visit, the cyberspace police introduced the abilities of “Cybercrime Detection and Prevention Center”, which searches for crimes on the cyberspace to eliminate them and lay the foundation for the development of the cyberspace.
