More than 700 managers of startups worth of billions gathered on Yalda Night to plan and decide about the future of this effective area in knowledge-based economy.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Yalda Night of this year was a special night for the managers of the startups that worth billions and are the serious and new players in the economy of the country.

Founders of small and large startups, managers of venture capitals, accelerators, shared spaces, holders of educational events and classes, prominent figures of the cyberspace, and managers of the vice presidency, judicial system of Iran, cyber police, military and law enforcement agencies, and managers and senior experts of traditional investment, banks, large financial holdings, and traditional media participated in this event. This active participation is indicative of a bright future for the country in terms of economy based on new ideas of the youth.

The new innovation ecosystem and new businesses are some modern concepts that are realized with the help of development of digital startups and businesses. “Startup” has been flourished in Iran for several years. Holding different events and several gatherings in the past years has helped engaging Iranian users in establishment of startups along with other countries.

Holding the event of Yalda Night with a startup feel is one of the new and valuable experiences in the last months of the Persian year 96 (2017). This event promises good days for businesses based on technology and innovation.

Maximum participation of young managers, who have challenged the traditional economy of the country for several years and talk about a new economy that brings new concepts, can provide solutions to eliminate the problems in the development of this type of businesses.
