Along with holding a joint meeting between the water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter of Iran and Austria on desired technological topics of both parties and the capacity of defining joint projects, a meeting was held with the European Union.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, along with a joint meeting between Iran and Austria on the topic of development of water resource management, desalination, water refinement and wastewater treatment, decisions were made on the desired technological topics of both parties and the capacity of defining joint projects with the European Union.

The joint cooperation meeting of Iran-Austria was held at the location of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology to start a joint season of cooperation in the presence of a delegation of academic experts, private companies and business adviser of embassy of Austria and authorities of the water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter and ministry of energy technologies development headquarter, the international headquarter and a number of active knowledge-based companies in the field of water and some of the professors and domestic universities and representatives of the executive section.

Types of natural gas separation membranes, biogas, hydrogen and nitrogen separation and desalting, drinking water purification, urban and industrial wastewater treatment, and the construction of centrifuge and waste drying machines, as well as waste and its transformation into solids and technology transfer were the most important topics of the meeting.
