This work was created with the support of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology and with the cooperation of Datis Pars Export Development Company and the specialized office for the export of Iranian biotechnological products in the East African region. The office is located in Uganda, the capital city of Kampala.

At present, this office specializes in "types of agricultural inputs", "human and animal probiotic products", "types of animal feed supplements", "pharmaceutical products", "diagnostic kits" and "equipment".

To implement this work in the first stage, by creating a sample farm with an area of 10 hectares and using different types of fertilizers and seeds of 8 Iranian companies, marketing and testing of products of knowledge-based companies is being pursued and done.

In the next stage, the products of 10 other companies with the focus on "animal supplements" and "human probiotics" have been selected to enter the market of this region after marketing and testing the products.

The establishment of specialized foreign offices in other countries is an action taken by the Biotechnology Development Headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology to expand the export of bio-based products in international markets. It is planned to establish 1400 specialized offices in other countries by the end of the year.

Uganda is one of the six target countries of the Islamic Republic of Iran in developing economic relations with the African continent, with its valuable natural resources, very fertile lands, considerable political stability and continued economic growth. For this reason, this country has been selected as the second destination of Iranian knowledge-based biological products.
