Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: currently Iran has reached self-efficacy in repair and maintenance of different types of airplanes.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, expressed about the condition of Iran regarding the repair and maintenance of different types of airplanes: after the revolution, an organization was established in the country to repair and maintain commercial airplanes.

He continued: therefore, it could be stated that one of our successes after the revolution was development of the industry of repair and maintenance of different types of military airplanes, helicopters, and various commercial airplanes.

According to Manteghi, we are self-reliant in the area of airplane repair and maintenance and have the ability of providing services to regional countries.

He also asserted: the importance of repair and maintenance is so high in some industries that if they are not observed, people’s lives would be in danger. Airplane repair and maintenance is one of these sensitive industries.
