Iran and France Will Evaluate the “Graft Versus Host Disease (GvHD)”

The first symposium on “graft versus host disease (GvHD)” will be held by the joint cooperation of Iran and France and efforts of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, GvHD is a complication caused due to allogeneic transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells, recognized as the main cause of post-transplant mortality.

This symposium is an opportunity for scientists and researchers of the GvHD field to gather together from across the world and share their valuable and new findings in diagnosis and treatment of this disease. The symposium on “graft versus host disease (GvHD)” will cover new findings in this field.

The main topics of the symposium include a new attitude toward pathophysiology and grading of transplant disease against acute and chronic hosts, new and developing treatments for transplant disease against acute and chronic hosts, clinical trials on GvHD, the role of cellular source and connective tissue composition in the onset of GvHD, cell therapy for GvHD, biomarkers related to GvHD, photophoresis for GvHD, and graft manipulation to prevent GvHD.

The first symposium on “graft versus host disease (GvHD)” will be held November 28th-December 1st, 2018 with the joint cooperation of Iran and France and by the efforts of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter in the Iran International Conference Center.
