In the business meeting of Iranian and Chinese companies in Shenzhen, which was held in the presence of knowledge-based companies of Iran, investors and technology activists of China, Sattari considers the high capacity of advanced technologies in both countries, stating that the development of joint ventures for the creation of large technology and innovation companies in the two countries would enable the development of economic growth through joint production and supply of knowledge-based products to international markets.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the second business and technology meeting was held in Shenzhen in the presence of Iranian knowledge-based companies and with the goal of developing scientific and technological interactions between the two countries.

According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, extensive cooperation between the two countries at various levels, especially in the area of science and technology, between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs of Iran and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, as well as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other important centers of science and technology, stress the importance of technological interactions and insist on strengthening of the level of bilateral relations in this sector.

Pointing out that the implementation of comprehensive, coherent policies on science, technology and innovation has enabled Iran to move from a developing country to an innovative and creative one. In this regard, he marked: by using investment in new technologies, technical knowledge and correction of regulations inside the country, and reforming its domestic regulations, the Chinese government has been able to channel innovation and technology capacity into high-tech companies through incentive policies and special facilities.

According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, traveling to Shenzhen is a unique opportunity for knowledge-based companies. In this respect, he mentioned: Shenzhen has great potential in advanced technologies such as ICT, IoT, telecommunications industry, stem cell technology and digital economy.

Mentioning the improvement of global rank of Iran from 34 to 16 in terms of science production, Sattari affirmed: Iran is ranked first in the region. In addition, the number of university students has increased from 2.4 million to 4.8 million people.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter claimed: on the other hand, another measure that has led to a dramatic change in Iran"s innovation system is the increasing role of startups in our country"s economy. The emergence of startups and innovative companies has provided an excellent opportunity for international cooperation in many different fields, including information and communication technology, health, biotechnology and industrial machinery and equipment.

Sattari considered the abundant capacities in different technologies in the two countries to be able to lay the foundation for the development of joint ventures to create large technology and innovation companies in the two countries so that the economic growth is increased more than before through joint production and presentation of knowledge-based products to international markets.

Five Iran-China Joint Technology Were Installed

The vice president for science and technology affairs stated: in addition, to have continued interactions with Chinese activists in the technology and innovation field, the Vice-Presidency has attempted to establish five joint technology centers between Iran and China in fields of nanotechnology, medical equipment and other areas in Suzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. These offices are working to provide areas of cooperation between Chinese and Iranian knowledge-based companies.

Pointing out the goals of traveling to China, Sattari stated: traveling to China as the head of a delegation encompassing 70 technological companies in various fields such as stem cells, information technology and communication, engineering services, and digital economy and chemical compounds are among the importance and motivation for making this trip. Here are some of the attractive areas for joint venture and market opportunities.

According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, today, Russian, Turkish and other Middle Eastern countries are being treated with Iranian biotechnology drugs, anti-cancer and inflammatory diseases. In addition to supplying domestic need for biotechnological drugs, CinnaGen Pharmaceutical Group is able to design, produce, equip, and establish biotechnology drug production lines in other countries.

The president of the national elites foundation added: the technology of this company has been exported to Turkey, Syria, Southeast Asia and Latin America, and new European-level partnerships are emerging.

In addition, Cell Tech Pharmed Co., which attended this meeting, treats five incurable diseases in Iran by stem cells, which is a unique achievement in West Asia and there is no similar company in the Middle East.

Sattari continued: in Iran, several companies are active in the field of organic and biological production of agricultural inputs, and research in the field of amino acids, probiotics and breeding of livestock and plants is underway in Iranian research institutes and institutes.

The vice president for science and technology affairs expressed: I hope today"s event and B2B meetings between Iranian and Chinese tech companies will become a turning point in bilateral economic and commercial cooperation. Notably, the Iranian government fully supports joint ventures between the two countries for technology and market development.

The Iranian knowledge-based delegation with the presidency of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, traveled to China. This delegation encompassed the managers of 70 knowledge-based companies. This trip was primarily conducted to help promote the export of Iran"s knowledge-based, technology and creative companies to China and to create a technology-based exchange of business between the two sides. The Iranian delegation attended two business and technology meetings held in Shanghai and Shenzhen, respectively.
