According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs quoted by the news headquarter of the second national, cultural, and art festival of “Made in Iran”, Mohammad Shariatmadari, minister of industry, mine, and trade, regarded the improvement of business space in the country as the most important factor for support of Iranian products during an interview with the headquarter.

In this regard, Shariatmadari stated: booming of the domestic market, basis of which is entrepreneurship and increased productivity in all areas, will eventually lead to social welfare of people. Therefore, an appropriate foundation must be laid to increase the quality of domestic products so that our goods could be presented in international markets.

Minister of industry, mine, and trade pointed out the goals of the “Made in Iran” festival, expressing: in Iran, domestic producers create high-quality products, purchase of which can be motivated in people by proper culture building. This would lead to a bright future for Iranian industrialists, entrepreneurs and investors.

According to Shariatmadari, the most important action to support Iranian products is preventing the entrance of smuggled goods into the country, which heavily damages domestic production. In this regard, he continued: import to the country is controlled and a large part of is related to investment and intermediating products.

Shariatmadari mentioned that the benefits of purchasing high-quality domestic products must be explained to the people, asserting: the government, consumer and manufacturer are in the three vertices of the triangle of supporting the domestic product, each must play its role accurately and inform the domestic users about them benefits of purchasing domestic products. This can be realized by various measures, including promotional programs and advertisements.

He added: the cyberspace and content production in this space, that are effective factors, must be used. In this path, the festival of “Made in Iran” can accelerate the pace of culture building on the support of domestic production and achieving the desired goals. 

He also explained that the ministry of industry, mine and trade has considered a 2020 vision plan, in which some issues, such as being ranked first in the region in terms of the industrial, mine and commercial field, achieving a diverse economy with the dominant share of the non-government and non-oil section, and development based on advanced and different technologies in exporting products, have been predicted. In this respect, he asserted: a review of this vision showed that achieving these visions is directly related to the support of Iranian products. This ministry takes step in line with the government on the path of support of creative and entrepreneurial workforce. 

 The 12^th round of the international festival of 100-second movies supports Iranian products in its especial section of “Made in Iran”. In addition, support of Iranian production (made in Iran), support of production of Iranian knowledge-based products and services, culture of production of high-quality Iranian products, national scouting and popular support of high-quality Iranian knowledge-based products and services, destructive effects of purchasing foreign products, excessive and illegal import (smuggling goods), introducing new businesses and startups, wealth creation from science and technology and introducing the knowledge-based economy are the main topics of the event.
