Increase of the number of spatial technology users is a national necessity
Chairman of Iran national space administration believes that the number of spatial technology users must increase in the country.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, regarded the increase of the number of spatial technology users a national necessity, expressing: lack of development of spatial technology users is one of the defects of the aerospace field in the country, which must be compensated for by the help of all organizations.
He added: lack of sufficient attention to spatial technology user development programs in the national economy and small role of the private sector in spatial activities are among the defects of the country.
According to Manteghi, one of the most important needs of the spatial area of the country is creating cooperation and sustainable interactions with active centers, units and government organizations and other beneficiaries of the country.
He also affirmed: to realize these goals, we need to specifically separate the responsibilities of policy-making, implementation, monitoring and development of spatial organizations with various platforms and missions and similar functions, so that all organizations could clearly perform their duties in this area.
