According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nano technology development headquarter mentioned the training of specialized and capable human resource, as well as operationalization of theoretical content for students as the goals of establishment of the first educational student laboratory of nano technology on the inauguration of this laboratory.

He mentioned that this laboratory is a complete package for MSc and PhD students of nano technology and other students that are eager to learn about this area. In this regard, he added: other universities of the province can also benefit from the services and facilities of the laboratory for practical units of students.

Abdolhossein Fereydoon, advisor to the minister and general manager of ministry of science, research and education, regarded the establishment of this laboratory as a good potential for commercialization and relationship of university and industry, stating: we hope that Seman University be introduced as an indicator of nano technology area by using the facilities of the laboratory.

Abbas Honarbakhsh Raouf, head of Semnan University, pointed out the importance of implementing training activities in the field of nanotechnology and expressed his hope, affirming: creation of this laboratory as the first educational student university of nano technology of Iran in Semnan University will motivate other universities to do the same.

It is noteworthy that in the first stage of establishment of this laboratory, the nano technology development hedquarter has aimed to establish this laboratory in five universities with fields and orientation of nano technology.

The first student educational laboratory of nano technology in the country was inaugurated in the presence of Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nano technology development headquarter, Abdolhossein Fereydoon, advisor to the minister and general manager of ministry of science, research and education, Abbas Honarbakhsh Raouf, head of Semnan University, and author authorities of Semnan University and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
