According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy, Hossein Afshin, the Vice President of Science, visited Gilan province this morning, on the sidelines of visiting knowledge-based and technological companies in this province, referring to the activities of one hundred knowledge-based companies in this province said: Currently, we have about 10,000 knowledge-based companies, which will increase to 30,000 companies according to the plan.

Afshin continued: As the Supreme Leader emphasizes real knowledge-based companies, we must be careful in evaluating and approving companies. The country's potential is much higher than this number and we can have many knowledge-based companies that are capable of developing technological frontiers. 100 knowledge-based companies is a low number for Gilan province, which has very good biological, human and technological capacities. The companies that were visited today are among the good knowledge based companies of the country, but this number is not proportional to the capacity of the province.

Referring to the creation of the necessary conditions for increasing the number of knowledge-based companies in Gilan province, the head of the National Elites Foundation said: According to the agreements made with the honorable governor, a basis will be provided for the number of knowledge-based companies in the province to be at least doubled in a certain time, because the province has very high potentials, including human resources, which can play a significant role in the development of the frontiers of knowledge and technology.

Referring to the action taken by the Vice Presidency of Science to solve the problem of limited space for companies to establish in cooperation with the Gilan Governorate, he said: supporting companies that move at the edge of knowledge, including the fields of artificial intelligence and agriculture, is a priority, and the companies of this province should also focus on these technologies. Considering the applications of artificial intelligence in their activities, the Vice Presidency of Science supports these knowledge-based companies by defining special packages.

Referring to the definition of the elite cycle to support elites and top talents, the head of the National Elites Foundation said: In this cycle that starts from childhood and continues until the end of an elite's life, this potential returns to the beginning of work, various supports are provided. The question may arise as to what kind of support is given to an elite in old age, in my opinion, one of the most important supports is maintaining the status and respect of the elite. Using the knowledge of the elites, connecting the elites to the elite network, improving their living conditions and providing material and spiritual support to them is defined in the context of this respect.
