The third round of the educational workshops of “the fifth round of cognitive neuroscience competition of students” is being held with the support of cognitive technologies and sciences development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the third round of the educational workshops of ““the fifth round of cognitive neuroscience competition of students” is being held to familiarize the talented students with the priorities of the comprehensive science roadmap of the country and necessity of education of the young researches and guiding them toward the fundamental needs of the country.

This round is held with the cooperation of the national center of exceptional talents and young scholars of the ministry of education, cognitive technologies and sciences development headquarter, institute of mathematics, institute for basic sciences, and ministry of education of provinces.

These workshops have been initiated since December and will continue to the end of the year in five sections of Kerman, Zanjan, Semnan, Shiraz and Tehran to cover the whole nation. To date, two workshops have been performed in Kerman and Zanjan.

These workshops include a public workshop on memory and four specialized workshops of “electrophysiology”, “psychophysics”, “signal processing” and “electronics”. The main goal of holding these workshops is preparing students to perform scientific cognitive projects for the final round of the event, which will be held October 2018.
