By the efforts of the secretariat of D-8 technology transfer and exchange network (TTEN), the international meeting of venture capitals with the topic of D-8 countries will be held in Tehran during December 3rd-5th, 2017.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Akbar Ghanbarpour, deputy of secretariat of D-8 TTEN stated: the international meeting of venture capitals with the topic of D-8 countries will be held to share experiences, increase the knowledge about venture capitals and cooperation and synergy between these organizations, along with holding the second round of the Mustafa Prize.
He continued: various sections of this event include thinking panels regarding the current issues of venture capitals, presenting work models of organizations, providing some cooperation stories between startups and venture capitals, presenting some startups from member countries to investors, cooperation over creation of a joint organization between venture capitals and educational workshops.
Deputy of secretariat of D-8 TTEN stated his hope in considerable cooperation of foreign venture capitals in this event, which will provide a proper opportunity for innovation ecosystem of the country to grow and deepen the available knowledge in this regard, creating the foundation for international cooperation in this field.
At the end, he asserted: to participate in this meeting, applicants must refer to the website of www.tim.d8tten.org and receive a registration form to attend the meeting.
D-8 TTEN was established in 2013 by Pardis technology park for Islamic countries that are members of this organization.
Synergy among technologists of countries to develop communication and sales market of technological products and transfer of technical knowledge, enhance investment and increase cooperation between countries are some of the goals of this network.
The international meeting of venture capitals will be held December 3rd-5th, 2017 in Tehran and by the effort of the secretariat of D-8 TTEN to cover the topic of D-8 countries.
Some of the goals of this meeting include sharing experiences and increasing familiarization of venture capitals about each other and creating synergy among them. This event will be held along with the second round of the Mustafa Prize.
According to the executive document of the Mustada Prize, Sorena Sattari (vice president for science and technology affairs) and Mahdi Safarinia (head of Pardis technology park) are head and secretary of the policy-making council of the Prize, respectively.
