The first technology investment meeting of countries of D-8 group will be held in Pardis Technology Park.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first technology investment meeting of D-8 and the first meeting of venture capitals will be held in December 2017 at Pardis Technology Park.

In this meeting, technology trends of members of D-8 and role of governments in development of venture capitals will be evaluated.

Moreover, successful international models in the area of venture capitals and investments of CVC companies will be assessed.

Other programs of the meeting include the evaluation of the evolution of the bold investment market in D-8 member countries and specialized workshops.

This meeting will be held to share experiences and increase knowledge about venture capitals, as well as increased synergy of the attendees, along with holding the second round of the Mustafa Prize.

The Mustafa Prize is the excellent badge of science and technology in the Islamic world, which is provided for top scholars of the Islamic world every two years. The Mustafa Prize promotes learning science and research in Islamic societies by recognition, introduction and appreciation of the bests of science and technology.

According to the executive document of the Mustafa Prize, Sorena Sattari (vice president for science and technology affairs) and Mahdi Safarinia (head of Pardis Technology Park) are the head and secretary of the policy-making council of the prize, respectively.
